The Planning Guide is a magazine for the planning applicant.
Produced in printed format or electronically for online access incorporating either Council branding
or Planning Guide branding for specific council areas nationally.
They are distributed free to new applicants following the submission of their application. The Planning Guide provides guidance to the applicant, through the planning process, covering policy and control, the application and appeals process, the environment, design and conservation and Building Control, who’s role is to check plans and building work to ensure that Building Regulations are satisfied.
