We have recently received the finished publication which looks really good  (probably better than I had expected), as does the web version with the active links in it.

During the pre-planning and production process we found Planning Guide very helpful and supportive, and even though there were some unforeseen delays in our preparing the content we explained the position to Planning Guide and never felt under any pressure from them to rush it through.

We appreciate that these guides are a commercial proposition but Planning Guide were also able to recognise the customer service angle when dealing with potential advertisers, and were responsive when any queries were raised.

The formatting of the content, layout and proofs went very smoothly, and as noted above we are very pleased with the final outcome, with a big Thank You to Peter Ashworth and Dave Haydock in particular for all their work.

Thank you very much with all your help in producing the Hounslow Planning Guide. I received my first copies this week and am really pleased with them. The presentation of the text is exactly how we wanted it and this will be a really useful guide to applicants, residents associations, and especially ward councillors, who can use this as a reference guide when the speak with residents in their surgeries.

I am especially pleased to see that all the adverts are genuinely local businesses. I didn’t realise that we had such a variety of local tradesmen in the area.

So as well as being promotional material for the council, information for the public and developers, it will assist in promotion of small businesses in the area.

I would certainly recommend that other local authorities embrace having a Planning Guide for their areas.
